Maintenance checklist: keep your automated storage running
Most breakdowns are preventable. These daily, monthly and yearly checks keep downtime close to zero.
Daily – by operators
Keep the access opening clean, check that light curtains react, never overload trays and report unusual noises immediately.
Monthly – by the maintenance team
Inspect belts and chains for wear, clean sensors, check error logs in the software and test the emergency stop.
Yearly – by a qualified service engineer
A full inspection of drives, brakes, safety systems and structure, with a written protocol. In Poland this also supports your obligations under occupational health and safety rules.
Keep critical spare parts on site
Sensors, belts and fuses are inexpensive but can stop the whole system. A small spare parts kit often prevents days of downtime.
